Inez Breaux Trahan, 95, a native of Gray, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, May 23, 2014.
Mrs. Trahan was a member of First Assembly of God of Houma. She was a great caregiver to children and the elderly.
She is survived by her children, Barbara (Gene) Barton, Patricia Positerry and Ralph (Darlene) Trahan; sister, Beverly Chauvin; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Trahan; parents, Leonce and Alice Breaux; sisters, Louise Porche, Enola Brassette, Stella Boyne, Anna Lee Hebert, Nobia Foret and Ethel Daigle; brothers, Oley and Milton Breaux; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 26, and 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with services to follow. Burial will be at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. (Samart)
