Inez Markley Busby, 70, a native of Rolfe, Ia., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, May 18, at 9:15 a.m.
She was the wife of Jim Busby of Houma; the daughter of the late Harlen Markley and Margueritte Diedrich; mother of John Busby and wife Debbie, Shannon Michael Busby and wife Michelle of Houston, Tx.; sister of Glenn Markley of Md; and grandmother of Joshua Busby, Nicole Busby, Nickolas Busby.
She worked for Terrebonne Parish School Board as a Counselor at Oaklawn Jr. High, and a Special Education Teacher at Acadian for 36 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star of the A.W. Connley Chapter 117 for 36 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service Thursday, May 22, at 1:30 p.m. at Annunziata Catholic Church in Houma.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
