Inez Rose Hebert Leonard, 84, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Bayou Black, La., entered into rest Thursday, January 15.


She is survived by her son, C.J. Leonard and wife Debra of Berwick, La.; daughters, Linda Babin and husband Barry, and Anita Caskey and husband Revis, both of Bayou Black; grandchildren, Tonia Bergeron and husband Gus, J.P. Pellegrin and wife Laurie, and Clarence Leonard; great-granddaughter Hallie Letchworth; step-granddaughter, Sherry Lynn Solar; nine step-great-grandchildren; and special people dear to her heart, Susan and Edward Wunstell and family.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence P. Leonard; parents, Henry H. Hebert and Evelyn Breaux Hebert; an infant daughter; and brother, Harris Hebert.

She was a homemaker and a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She was a friend to everyone and she never met a stranger. She was a caregiver to many. She will be loved and missed by all.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, January 18, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 19, at St. Anthony Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11a.m. Monday at St. Anthony with interment at St. Anthony Cemetery.
