Irene Dufrene

Irene Dufrene, 91, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014.

Mrs. Dufrene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, Ronnie (Sandra) and Bryan Dufrene; daughter, Teala Boudreaux; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Dufrene; parents, Camile and Stelina Boudoin; brothers, Herbert, Warren and Edison Boudoin; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at Falgout Funeral Home and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. (Falgout)
