October 6, 2011Irene Marcel Porche, 88, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011.
Mrs. Porche was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Domangue and Betty (Charles) Fanguy; sister, Virtrine Daigle; brother, Junius Marcel; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Porche; son, Gerald Porche; parents, Louis and Augusta Marcel; sisters, Aline Boudreaux, Flavia Thibodaux and Celina Boquet; and brother, Eugene Marcel.
Burial was at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
