Irving Pierre Daigle Jr., 82, a native and resident of Houma, La., died 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010.


Mr. Daigle was retired from Texaco. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, a past member of the Jaycess, and Krewe of Terranians, and a lifetime member of the Marine Corp League. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and hunting, and being with his friends and family.


He is survived by his wife, Gloria Martin Daigle; sons, Terry and Mark (Debbie) Daigle; daughter-in-law, Gayle Daigle; sisters, Peggy Vacarro; three grandchildren, Timothy (Monica) and Tyler Daigle, and Michelle (David) Dufrene; three great-grandchildren, Brooke Lombard, Matthew Dufrene and Philip Daigle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving Pierre and Gladys Trosclair Daigle; stepmother, Odessa Jolet Daigle; son, Philip Daigle; and brother, Ronald Daigle.

He is buried at Our Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
