Isabel “Bel” Labat, 84, a native of Theriot, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Friday, October 10.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Curren Labat; sons, Russell Labat and wife Donna, Jerry Labat and David Labat and wife Becky; daughter, Denise Labat; seven grandchildren; and six, great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmae and Florence Theriot; brothers, Allen Theriot and F.E. Theriot; and sister, Jeaunne St. Martin.
She was an active member of St. Mary’s Ladies Altar Society and a parishioner of St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church, 3500 Hwy. 1, Raceland, La., 70394.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church with the service to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
