Tourney gives teams early look at competition
December 29, 2009Isabella Claire Verrett, a native of New Orleans and resident of Thibodaux, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009.
She is survived by her mother, Danaie Jaqulyn Gussman; father, Rodney Joseph Verrett Jr.; grandparents, Darren and Debra Gussman, and Brenda and Merlin Martin; great-grandmothers, Virginia Bourgeois and Ora Mae Billiot; great-grandfather, Herbert Gussman; aunts, Dalanie Gussman, Jenice Hastings, Shawn Moore, Jessica Verrett and Shannon Butler; uncles, Ronnie Verrett, Ron Verrett, Billy Hastings, Brad Moore and Cory Butler; godparents, Destanie Gussman and Brandon Hastings; and numerous cousins and family members.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Rodney Verrett Sr.; great-grandfather, Charles Bourgeois; and uncle Randy Verrett.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday, Dec. 29, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Ms. Verrett will be buried at St. Lawrence Catholic Church Cemetery.
