Isadora Stevenson Williams, 72, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Schriever, La., died Tuesday, Aug. 11.

She is survived by 10 sons, Joseph S. Williams Jr., James Williams and David Williams of Schriever, Hamilton Williams, Daniel Williams, Ronald Williams and wife India of Atlanta, Ga., Glen Williams and wife Nichole, Anthony Williams and wife Chemier of Houma, La., John Williams and wife Margaret of Coushatta, La., and Sylvester Williams and wife Tennia of Baton Rouge, La.; four daughters, Sylvia Williams, Linda Williams and companion Leroy Brooks of Gray, La., Betty Williams of Dallas, Texas, and Joyce Parker and husband Clarence of Houma; two brothers, Albert Stevenson of Amelia, La., and Allen Stevenson of Franklin, La.; three sisters, Mary M. Stevenson of New Orleans, La., Ruby Poindexter and husband Melvin of Gibson, La., and Gladys Williams of Gray; 41 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Williams Sr.; parents, Roger and Idella Stevenson; one brother, Manny Emanuel Stevenson; grandparents, Ben and Elizabeth Steel; and one granddaughter, Alicia K. Williams.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at Community Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, at Tabernacle of Love Church in Thibodaux, La., with burial at Halfway Cemetery.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
