Ivey Anthony Duet, 84, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Monday, September 22, at 4:45 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Sedonia Johnfroe Duet; sons, Lanny Anthony Duet and wife Verley, and Richard Joseph Duet and wife Dianna; sister, Evelia Dufrene; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lezime and Rosina Gisclair Duet; brothers, Oran, Edison, Morris, Eule and David Duet; and sisters, Lezima “Mim” Guidry and Exanna Terrebonne.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 24 at Holy Rosary with mass to follow at Our Lady of the Rosary in Larose, La. He will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of the arrangements.
