Ivy Blanchard Crochet, 81, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of Plattenville, La., died at 5:17 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Philip Crochet Jr.; children, Cheryl Mercier, and Philip III (Margaret) and Gordon (Kathie) Crochet; 14 grandchildren, Christian (Robert) Funderburk, Ashley (Joshua) Funderburk, Lindsay (Christopher) Schneider, Angel (Kevin) Litz, Summer (Ben) Trook, Jolie (Mike) Cologgi, Ross, Katelin, Hunter and Olivia Mercier, Chantel (Terry) Robinson, Dawn Crochet, Brandi (Jason) Threeton and Gordon (Amy) Crochet Jr.; and 14 great-grandchildren, Kaileigh White, Emma Kate Funderburk, Ryan Funderburk, Brayden Cornette, Noah Hoffpauir, Grace Hoffpauir, Evan Hoffpauir, Jonathan Litz, Victoria Litz, Julianna Litz, Kerstyn Melan, Cade Robinson, Addyson Crochet and Cortney Crochet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Achille and Nola T. Blanchard.
She is buried at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery.
Pall bearers were Gordon Crochet Jr., Hunter Mercier, Terry Robinson, Robert Funderburk, Joshua Hoffpauir and Ben Trook. Honorary pall bearers were Jason Threeton, Mike Cologgi, Kevin Litz and Christopher Schneider.
