March 23, 2012Ivy Peter Levron, 79, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died at 4:50 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012.
Mr. Levron was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed fishing, gardening and going to the casino. He was Catholic and a past member of the Montegut Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Levron; son, Dale (Sherry) Levron; daughters, Susan (Jessie) Scott and Sandra (Buddy) Glisson; brother, Delvin (Sidney) Levron; sister, Carrie (Gregory) Steele; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Lucretia Levron.
Burial was at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery in Pointe-aux-Chenes. (Samart)
