Jacqueline Francis Lamkins, 41, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Gray, La., died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Thibodaux, La. Religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.


Mrs. Lamkins is survived by her husband, the Rev. Paul Lamkins Sr. of Thibodaux, La.; one son, Johnell Williams of Raceland, La.; three daughters, Sherry Knight, Donna Johnson and Eric Willoughby, all of Thibodaux, La.; six sisters, Barbara Anderson and Michelle Johnson of Thibodaux, La., Lynn Johnson of New Orleans, La., Bernette Holmes and Vivian Tillman of Raceland, La. and Lena Bradley of Houma, La.; eight brothers, Joseph Johnson Jr. of Mobile, Ala., Paul Johnson, Harold Carter, Christopher Johnson, Mark Carter and Wilbert Carter of Thibodaux, La., and Leonard Tillman and Lawrence Tillman of Raceland, La., and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Tillman and Willie Mae Carter.

Mrs. Lamkins was a Baptist. Her hobbies included cooking, growing flowers, and spending time with the grandchildren.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
