Jamaur Courtney Sneede, 23, a native of Gray, La., and a resident of Smithridge, La., died Tuesday, March 18.
He is survived by his parents, Carol and James Sneede, Jr.; son, Lamaur Sneede; daughter, LaJaja Sneede; brothers, Donte’ and Jeremy Sneede and Troy Hawkins; and sisters, Rena Dyer, Gail Flakes and Connie Norman.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie Hawkins; maternal grandfather, Lawerence Francis; and paternal grandfather, James Sneede, Sr.
He was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 28, at Community Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at the funeral home. He will be buried at Halfway Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
