James August Besse, 88 a native and resident of Morgan City, La., died Monday Aug. 15, 2011.
Mr. Besse was a strong and caring man. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather and friend. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a faithful member of Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship in Patterson, La. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughters Joyce (Jeffery) Guidry and Sally (Edward Jr.) Comeaux; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Edna Besse.
Burial was at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
