James Edward Beauty, 76, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Gibson, La., died Tuesday, Jan.18, 2011.
Mr. Beauty was Southern Baptist and a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. He was a bus driver for Terrebonne Parish School Board for 33 years and a driver for Community Funeral Home for 12 years.
He is survived by his son, Brian (Gina) Beauty; sisters, Emma Harding, Lillian Smith, Mercedes Moses and Mildred Henry; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma Wilson Beauty; parents, Hattie and Nixon Beauty; one daughter, Katherine Beauty; two brothers, Clarence and Melvin Sr. Beauty; and three sisters, Alma Beauty, Aramenta Harris and Bertha Mae Holmes.
He is buried at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery.
