James E. Miles Jr., 57, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, June 18.
He is survived by his son, James E. Miles III of Houma; daughter, Kristin Miles Pregeant and husband, Scott, of Houma; sister, Phyllis Rumbelow of Washington state; grandchildren, Alisa Miles, Brandon Ward, Evan and Julia Pregeant; his former spouse, Joy Pitre; and his aunt and uncle, Al Minciel and Margaret Smith of New York.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James E. Miles Sr. and Stefania Minciel Miles.
He was a graduate of Nicholls State University and owner of NRG Consultants.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Southdown Plantation Home in Houma.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
