James Kembly Williams Sr., 55, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of LaPlace, La., died Wednesday, June 22, 2011.
He is survived by his mother, Queen Williams; daughter, Trevina (Marcus) Webb; stepdaughter, Shanice Williams; son, James Williams Jr.; sisters, Elisha (Louis) Jasmine, Linda Lewis and Julie (Eddie) Dunbar; brothers, Cleveland (Darlene) and Huey (Elnora) Williams; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. James Williams Jr.; brothers, Eugene and Wilford Williams; and sister, Edith Cola.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, June 27 at Williams & Southall Funeral Home with religious services to follow. Burial will be at Port Hudson National Cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
