James “Bro Moe” Moore, Jr., 85, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Friday, September 28, 2007.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Clark Moore; one son, Donald Moore and his wife Linda; three daughters, Phyllis Jones and her husband Alfred, Carol “Sue” Walker, and Regina Bright and her husband Reginald; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Estella and James Moore Sr.; two sons, George and Kenneth Moore; and one daughter, Cynthia Moore.

James was a retired self-employed plumber.

Visitation is Friday, October 5, 2007, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville and Saturday, October 6, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. John Baptist Church in Napoleonville. He will be buried in the church cemetery.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
