James Willie Holcomb, 84, a native of Kansas, Ala., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Jan. 2, 2012.


Mr. Holcomb an Alabama Crimson Tide, LSU Tiger, Atlanta Braves, and New Orleans Saints fan. He loved going to the casinos.

He is survived by his sons, James (Gayle) and Leonard (Brandi) Holcomb; daughters, Barbara (Mark) Boudreaux, Coralyn (Dan) McDonough and Aimee Holcomb; brother, Wayne Holcomb; sister, Betty Pike; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Holcomb; parents, Roy and Amy Holcomb; brothers, Bobby and Dan Holcomb; sisters, Geraldine Woods and Blanche Holcomb; and great-granddaughter, Rachael Boudreaux. (Chauvin)
