Janell Bellard Pravata, 71, a native of Church Point, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014.
Mrs. Pravata was employed with Winn Dixie for 23 years.
She is survived by her husband, Philip Pravata; children, Shannon Pravata and Desiree Myers; brothers, James, Bernard, John and Gregory Bellard; sister, Gussie Clement; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Maydell Bellard; and brother, Donald Bellard.
Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at Thibodaux Funeral Home Chapel and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
