Janet Louise Loupe Albert, 81, a native of Port Arthur, TX., and a resident of Thibodaux, LA., died at 4:54 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2007.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at Landry’s Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by five sons, Dale Ralph Albert Jr., Keith Alexander Albert, Wade Joseph Albert, Todd James Albert and Lynn Theogene Albert; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Ralph Albert Sr.; her parents, Alexander James Loupe Sr. and Eunice Bergeron Loupe; and one brother, Alexander James Loupe Jr.
She was a Nicholls State University house mom for 25 years and a member of the Catholic Daughters.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
