Janice Jackson, 53, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010.
Ms. Jackson was a member of Rocks of Ages Baptist Church. She served as an usher and in the choir.
She is survived by her stepfather, Earl Johnson; brothers, Darnell Johnson, Paul Mart, Steve (Christina) and Donald Jackson, and Paul, Wayne (LaShawn) and Michael James Harvey; and sisters, Debbie Crawford, Loretta Chester, Sheila Johnson, Linda (Vernon) Singleton, Betty Jackson, Jeanette Harvey, Regina Martin, Lynette (Samuel) Brown and Constance Harvey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ora Mae Johnson and James Harvey; two brothers, Earl Jackson and Derrell Johnson; one sister, Bonnie Harvey; and her grandparents, Charles and Ida Harvey, and Nathenial and Amy Jackson.
She is buried at Southdown Cemetery.
