Janice Marie Scott Voisin, 60, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Dulac, La., died Friday, August 24, 2007, at 2:53 a.m.
She is survived by five daughters, Angelina DuBois, Jolean DuBois, Summer Hunts Berry and her husband, Jonathan, Rita Voisin, and Katharine Scott; one son, Coty Rae Voisin; three brothers, Norris, Sidney and Kevin Scott; seven sisters, Brenda Bryan, Dianne Naquin, Cathy Darcey, Maxine Trahan, Bonnie McCarthy, Sylvia Scott and Eleanor Scott; and three grandchildren, Tristan Scott, Michelle Scott and Koby Voisin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norris Scott and Marie Brunet Scott; her legal guardians, Theodore “Toto” Lapeyrouse and Elsie Mae Lapeyrouse; one daughter, Tanya Rene Voisin; and one brother, Nolan Scott.
Janice was the former Mrs. Terry A. DuBois Sr. and a florist in Terrebonne Parish for 20 years as owner of DuBois Florist and Gifts.
Memorial Services where held Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
