Jean Edna Curole Breaux, 88, a native of Lockport, La., and a resident of Pine Prairie, La., died Wednesday, February 25, at 8:35 p.m.


She is survived by her sons, Martin Sr., Frank and Paul Breaux; daughters, Beatrice B. Catorie, Rose B. Kraemer, Virgie B. Cheramie, Antoinette B. Deer and Charleen Breaux; 27 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Percy Breaux; parents, Joseph and Ella Curole; son, Clifton Breaux; brothers, Benny, Sylvester and Joseph Curole; sisters, Latoot Tastet and Nita Vedros; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, February 27, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 28, at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport with burial at the church cemetery.
