August 14, 2010Jeanette Fanguy Cologne, 73, a native of Des Allemands, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010.
Mrs. Cologne was a member of the St. Gertrude Ladies Altar Society, an avid supporter of the Louisiana Catfish Festival and 2008 Grand Marshall of the Des Allemands Parade.
She is survived by her sons, Barry Sr. (Ruth) and Henry (Chrissy) Cologne; daughters, Lisa (Calvin Sapia) Douglas and Bonnie Cologne; siblings, Jimmy Fanguy, Genevieve Cologne, Mary Jane Chauvin and Martha Eusea; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Cologne Jr.; and parents, James and Sadia Fanguy Sr.
She is buried at St. Gertrude Cemetery.
