Jeanette Cossey Fisher, 75, a native of Columbia and a resident of Chauvin, La., died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 8.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Fisher of Chauvin; two sons, Johnny Howard and wife Jeanne of Chauvin and Gary Howard of Columbia; two sisters, Jackie Weeks of Columbia and Frances Hatten of Avinger, Tx.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifton “Shorty” Howard; her parents, Lury Cossey and Jessie Mae Cossey; and one daughter-in-law, Melissa Howard.
She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at the funeral home chapel.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
