July 19, 2010Jeanette S. Johnson, 87, a native of Ascension Parish, La., and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Monday, July 12, 2010.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of The House of the Lord.
She is survived by her sons, Johnny, Lynwood, Troy and Warren Johnson; and daughters, Ida Hawkins, Alice J. Johnson, Ethel Ray and Ethel Banks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Johnson Sr.; parents, John & Cecelia Nichollas Scott; sons, Raymond and Jesse Johnson Jr.; brothers, Isreal, Earon, John, Maine, Lenwood, Aurestile and Reverend Samuel Scott; and sisters, Laura and Oreia Scott, Cecila Brown, Marta Williams and Elmonia Knight.
She is buried at St. Luke Baptist Church in Waterproof, La.
