Jennings Joseph Authement, 68, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 10:12 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016.
Mr. Authement was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He retired from the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government after 12 years. He enjoyed spending time and cooking with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean Blanchard Authement; sons, Darren and Billy Authement; brothers, W. Patrick (Barbara) and Dale (Diana) Authement; sister, Diana (Donald) Tivet; and five grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
