T’bonne levee district inks LDWF agreement for J-2
February 23, 2010Jeramie “Jeramie Jones” Paul Brunet Sr., 39, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010.
A jack-of-all-trades, Mr. Brunet was known as the life of any party and could bring a smile to anyone’s face.
He is survived by his children, Jeramie Jr., Jeret and Jasmine Brunet; parents, Easton Sr. and Brenda Pitre Brunet; fiancée, Shiela Melson; mother of his children, Roberta Mackles; brothers, Mark (Cher) of Bourg, Easton Jr., Kevin, Chad and Jason (Darla) Brunet of Houma; sister, Christina (Troy) Sparks of Houma; 15 nieces and nephews, Taylor, Tristen, Mark II and Cole Pitre of Bourg, Easton Paul Brunet III, Kevin Jr., Devin, Alyssa, Katlyn, Gage, Madison and Brianna Brunet, Kelsey, Cooper and Christopher Sparks; godchild, Brooke Brunet; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Ashley Nicole Brunet; maternal grandparents, Justillian and Lena Pitre; paternal grandparents, Houston Brunet and Lillian LeBouef; sister, Patty Brunet; and brother, Brian Christopher Brunet.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help defray funeral expenses are appreciated.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma and from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Temple of Praise Church in Houma. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church. Pallbearers are Mark, Chad, Jason, Kevin and Easton Paul Brunet Jr. and Elterry Pitre.
He will be buried at Bisland Cemetery in Houma.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
