Jerry Ganaway, 55, a native of Plaquemine, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, September 27.

He is survived by his companion, Carrie Johnson; his mother, Beulah Sparks Ganaway; one son, Gerald Douglas Ganaway and wife Amanda Naquin; one brother, Larry D. Gannaway and wife Esther; two sisters, Brenda G. Daigle and husband Kenneth, and Annette G. Bing and husband Bob; two grandchildren, Gerald Ganaway Jr. and Savanna Allemand; two step grandchildren; Chab Hotard and Wayne Naquin; and numerous relatives, friends and co-workers.


He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph B. Ganaway.

His past time was shooting pool and listening to swamp pop music.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma with a religious service to follow.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
