March 27, 2013Jerry Joseph Billiot Sr., 58, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Boothville, La., died Monday, March 18, 2013.
Mr. Billiot was an avid fisherman who loved gardening, woodworking, the outdoors and crafting.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Billiot; sons, Jerry Jr. and Jason Billiot and Joshua, Robert and Jason Demoll; daughters, Daisy Verdin and Shenna Rojas; sisters, Adariana Guidry and Annie Garrett; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luke and Isabella Billiot; and sister, Elaine Lord.
Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, March 21, and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 22, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, La., with burial to follow at Cheramie Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
