Jerry Paul Pellegrin, 63, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Gray, La., died Thursday, March 1, 2012.
Mr. Pellegrin was an amazingly bright and positive person who truly lived every minute of every day. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather and viewed every challenge as an opportunity. He enjoyed working outdoors or on a project. He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Pellegrin; sons, Greg and Mark Pellegrin; daughter, Melissa (Larry) Gill; brother, Herman Jr. (Cathy) Pellegrin; sister, Peggy (Richard) Grabert and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Laura Pellegrin.
A memorial service will be 12 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Chauvin Funeral Home. (Chauvin)
