Joachin Thibodeaux, a resident of Patterson, La., died Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
Mr. Thibodeaux was a hard worker and excellent provider. He always took care of the family he adored. He was known for his love of French music and his ability to cook, especially roast and gumbo. His favorite outdoor hobby was vegetable gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Thibodeaux; children, Melisa (Lydell) Faulk and Blane (Linda), Michael, Charles (Linda) and Peggy (Patrick) Thibodeaux; 15 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Inez Thibodeaux; two brothers; and three sisters.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 22, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Ibert’s Memorial Park Cemetery in Patterson. (Hargrave)
