T’bonne levee district inks LDWF agreement for J-2
February 23, 2010JoAnn Rita Liner, 51, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Theriot, La., died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010.
Ms. Liner worked for Dr. Van Ardoin at Total Eye Care for 33 years. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her mother, Theresa Scott Liner; brothers, Edward Jr. (Theresa “T’se”), Clifford (Christine) and Patrick (fiancée Gwin Banks) Liner; sisters, Theresa Legnon, Sandra (Charles) Bergeron, Lavina (fiancé Terrall Parfait) and Bernadine Liner, Marsha (Brian) Quick, Joy (Bart) Carlos, Hope (Scott) Rogers; 32 nieces and nephews; 35 great-nieces and great-nephews; and cherished pets, Mcquet and Sassy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Liner Sr.; brother, Craig Liner; twin great-nieces, Kennedy and Addison LeBlanc; brother-in-law, Bertrand Legnon; grandparents, Paul and Sarah Tivet Scott, and Clifford and Bernadette Lirette Liner.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
She will be buried at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery in Theriot.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
