JoAnna Lea Brauninger Burrow, 67, a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, February 10.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby W. Burrow; daughters, JoLynn D. Burrow and Jan M. Reynolds; and her beloved animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Lea Brauninger and Grace Hurlbut Brauninger.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Houma and was a member of the Houma Oilwives Club and the Doll Lovers Club in Houma. She was an accomplished artist, draftsman, decorator, amateur gemologist and gourmet cook. She was passionate about her family and a real lover of God’s creatures. Furthermore, she was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother (to her four-legged, furry grandchildren), and friend. We love her and miss her greatly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Tx., 75231.
She was buried at Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
