Jody Joseph Brunet, 54, a native of Galliano, La. and a resident of Golden Meadow, La. died Sunday, July 8, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Guidry Brunet; one son, Ryan James Brunet and his wife Rachel; two daughters, Ada Marie Brunet and her fiancé Troy Griffin and Amy Elizabeth Dufrene and her husband Jeff; one sister, Sarah Brunet; six grandchildren, Alisha Renee Bruce, Tyler John Lefort, Chloe Renee Galliano, Sadie Angelle Orgeron, Nicholas Andre Brunet, and Brody Anthony Griffin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Sadie Triche Brunet; and three brothers, Jerome, Joseph, and Wayne Brunet.
Jody was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, La. He was a member of the Greenhead Club. He enjoyed deer Hunting, fishing and cooking.
Visitation is Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 2:00pm until 10:00pm and Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 8:00am until 11:00am at Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano, with the funeral to follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. He will be buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off, La.
Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of the arrangements.
