Joel J. Moreau, 65, a native of Hessmer, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at 8:45 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Moreau; two sons, Christopher Jude Moreau and his wife Allison and Mark S. Moreau and his fiancée’ Melissa Mabile; three daughters, Jennifer Hebert and her husband Duane, Kelly M. Guin and her husband Shane, and Marla M. Lopez and her husband Randy; one brother, Jimmie Moreau; and 10 grandchildren, Jessica Moreau, Katie Moreau, Laura Moreau, Maggie Moreau, Emma Moreau, Morgan Moreau, Samantha Moreau, Carrie Hebert, Jacob Guin and Zachary Guin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Moreau and Louella Descant Moreau.
Joel was owner of Global X-Ray and Testing Corp. and was the loving patriarch of the Moreau family.
Visitation is Friday, September 21, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 22, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Thibodaux Funeral Home, with the funeral to follow at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. He will be buried in the church cemetery.
