John J. “Johnny” Boudreaux Sr., 57, a native of Golden Meadow, LA. and resident of Galliano, LA., died at 8:42 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2007.


Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.


He is survived by his wife, Dorothy “Dot” H. Boudreaux; one son, John J. Boudreaux and wife, Angela Boudreaux; one sister, Eve B. Orgeron; two daughters, Charlotte Terrebonne and husband, Byron Terrebonne, and Jessica Dardar and husband, Rusty Dardar; four grandchildren, Cody Boudreaux, Tierney Dardar, Nathan Boudreaux and Bailey Terrebonne; three step-grandchildren, Andrea Guidry, Joan Brunet and Rusty Dardar; and three step-great-grandchildren, Courtney Guidry, Kylee Guidry and Jessie Guidry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam Joseph and Trina Callais Boudreaux; one brother, Jimmy Boudreaux; and two sisters, Joann Boudreaux and Jennifer Boudreaux.

He worked for Crosby Tugs and was an avid movie watcher.

He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
