John “Corky” Badgley III, 59, a native of Shreveport, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 28.
He is survived by his former wife and long time friend, Cynthia Daigle of Houma; son, John Badgley IV of Houma; daughter, Amy Dennis and husband, Jeff, of Houma; brother, Jerry Badgley of Shreveport; and grandchildren, Payton, Ella and Ethan Dennis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Badgley II and Alma Jean Ray Badgley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Byrd High School, Shreveport, La.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
