September 1, 2015John William Davidson, 93, a native of Avoca Island, La., and resident of Berwick, La., died Monday, Aug. 24, 2015.
Mr. Davidson was a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II. After the war, he spent his days commercial fishing.
Mr. Davidson is survived by his grandson, John (Christa) Davidson; sister, Merle (Ray) Hinchee; four great-grandchildren; five nephews; and one niece.
