John E. Hall Jr., 86, a native of Sturges, Miss., and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012.

Mr. Hall was a veteran of World War II and graduate of Mississippi State University. He was a Schlumberger engineer for 30 years and a member of KC Council #7355, various military organizations and Terrebonne-Lafourche Right to Life. He will be remembered for his faithfulness to family, friends and church.


He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jane Hall; daughter, Anita Hall; sons, William and John (Lisa) Hall and Michael (Chana) Krawic; sister, Vivian Hannah; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Sr. and Aulena Hall.

Burial was at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Falgout)
