John E. McCoy, 72, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Michigan, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011.
He is survived by his son, Scott McCoy; daughter, Kelli Grzenia; stepson, Craig Gentry; stepdaughters, Jennifer and Corry Gentry and Kim Hall; sisters, Sheila Smith and Jewell West; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Precilla McCoy; sons, John Jr. and Steven McCoy; and grandsons, Matthew and Cody McCoy.
Burial was at Magnolia Cemetery in Houma. (Falgout)
