November 14, 2012John Ellis Verret, 57, a native of Bayou Dularge, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012.
Mr. Verret loved to cook, dance, cut trees and go to the casino. He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joy Verret; children, April (Clarence III) Holmes, June and Jamie Verret; sisters, Brenda Verret and Tammy Abshire; brother, Danny Verret; and four grandchildren. (Samart)
