John Galjour Sr., 75, a native of Leeville, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013.
Mr. Galjour was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Rosie Galjour; children; John Jr., Taylor, Drake, Chris and Wade Galjour, Tina Reed and Dolci Fillinich; stepchildren Michael and Cathy Gros, Jim and Dorothy Lewis, Susan Mayet and Melissa Duet; brothers Larry, Bobby and Van Jr. Galjour; sisters, Gloria Galjour, Darlene Rabalais, Connie Gaspard and Donna Collins; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Brenda Galjour; parents, Van Sr. and Priscilla Galjour; sister, Deanna Rousse; and one grandchild.
Burial is at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Cut Off. (Falgout)
