May 27, 2010John Harrell Sr., 84, a native of Clinton and resident of Schriever, died Friday, May 14, 2010, at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.
Mr. Harrell was Baptist and a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his companion, Ethel Woods; daughters, Ruth (Vernon) Theriot, Judith (Donald) Scott and Sally Howard; stepdaughters, Diana (Louis) Williams, Stephanie (Raymond) Livas, Yolanda (Paul) Davis, Beverly (Davis) Stewart, Valerie Woods and Rhonda (Carl) Brown; sons, John Jr., Charles, Christopher and Anthony (Lucenda) Harrell; stepsons, Gerald (Cynthia) and Darrell Nixon, and Melvin Woods; sister-in-law, Josephine Turner; 61 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren.
He is buried at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Schriever.
