December 19, 2011John “Johnny” J. Moncada, 88, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Lafayette, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011.
He is survived by his son, John Moncada Jr.; daughter, Dianne Duet; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Moncada; and parents, Joseph and Ester Moncada.
Burial was at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
