John Paul Trahan Sr., 64, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, August 9, at 9:48 a.m.
He is survived by his companion, Mamie Hebert; sons, David A. Trahan and wife Beth, Shane M. Trahan and companion Nikki and James D. Trahan and wife Shelly; sisters, Nettie Roddy and Margarite Bergeron; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace P. and Cecile Duplantis Trahan; son, John P. Trahan Jr.; brother, Aubrey Trahan Sr.; and sister, Mary Picou.
No services are scheduled.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
