Soon-to-be ex-husband charged with assaulting wife

John Raymond Dickinson, 53, a native of Brownsville, Tx., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3.
He is survived by his partner, Dane LeBoeuf; two daughters, Amy Dickinson and Holly Dickinson; two sisters, Shelia Price and Lynn Catalano; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Howard Sr. and Louise King Dickinson; one brother, the Rev. Leroy Howard Dickinson Jr.; and one sister, Laverne Ella Dickinson.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, July 14, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with funeral services to follow.
Samart Funeral Home of is in charge of the arrangements.
