John S. Politz, 81, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011.
Mr. Politz was the owner of Politz’s Restaurant for 45 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Politz; daughters, Linda (Terry) Usey, Susan (Roy) Landry, Charlene (Emmett Jr.) Landry, Lisa (Jason) Boudreaux and Jill (James) Granier; brother, Russell Politz; sister, Lucille Simoneaux; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaetano and Rosa Politz; brothers, Peter and Anthony Politz; and sisters, Doris Mascarella, Mary Landry and Josie Simoneaux.
Interment was at St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery in Napoleonville. (Landry’s)
